Route information
This fantastic course begins in Chartham, just outside the historic cathedral city of Canterbury. Expect beautiful scenery as you follow the traffic-free route along the River Stour pathway and into the centre of Canterbury.
Ideal for novice runners and seasoned athletes alike, the out-and-back route is completely flat, so is the perfect introduction to a 10k and offers a chance to achieve a fast PB.
Starting at Chartham Village Hall, the route begins with a lap of the playing field to spread the field out. It then heads onto the River Stour pathway and continues along the water until reaching Toddlers Cove in Canterbury, which marks the halfway point. Runners will then head back along the same route to the finish line in Chartham.
