Get ready to run through the streets of Carlisle for a summer race steeped in history and excitement. Starting and finishing at the iconic Carlisle Racecourse, this road-closed event offers two distances: a 10K and Half Marathon on an undulating course that winds through the scenic outskirts of Cumbria’s historic
county town.
With chip-timed results, supportive marshals, and a vibrant race-day atmosphere, whether you're chasing a new PB or running your first long-distance event, the Carlisle Half Marathon & 10K is the perfect challenge.

There will be limited free parking on site at the racecourse. We recommend arriving early, as with all major events please expect some queues on arrival.
Event day logistics
09:00 am - Half Marathon start
09:25 am - 10k start
12:30 pm - Race End
CUT-OFF TIME
Please note there is a 3 hour cut off on this race due to road closures in place.
MINIMUM AGES
Half Marathon - 17 years old
10k - 15 years of age
BAGGAGE
We will have a secure area where you can leave your baggage. We recommend you bring as little baggage as possible. Your baggage tag is attached to your race number, you simply tear it off and attach to your bag. To collect, show your number to our staff and they will help you find your baggage.
TOILETS
There will be toilets available within the event village, and approximately half way along the half marathon course.
REFRESHMENTS
There will be water provided approximately every 5km, and there will also be water available at the finish along with your post race goodies and medal
RESULTS
Results will be available here immediately after the race.
