Route information

Returning to Capesthorne Hall, this notoriously flat and fast course provides the perfect opportunity to a personal best race over the half marathon distance in 2026. The Cheshire Half starts and finishes outside the stunning Capesthorne Hall and runs around the flat and rural closed roads of Cheshire, this Run Britain/UKA licensed, officially measured Cheshire Half Marathon distance road race is open to runners of all abilities.

PARKING/TRAVEL

There will be free parking on site. Please arrive early as there may be queues on arrival. As with all major events, there may be delays on leaving the car park after the event.

Event day logistics

09:00 am - Half Marathon starts

12:30 pm - Race End

CUT-OFF

Please note there is a 3 hour cut off on this race due to road closures in place.

MINIMUM AGES

17 Years and above

BAGGAGE

We will have a secure marquee where you can leave your baggage. We recommend you bring as little baggage as possible. Your baggage tag is attached to your race number, you simply tear it off and attach to your bag. To collect, show your number to our staff and they will help you find your baggage.

TOILETS

There will be portable toilets in the event village and approximately half way on the course.

REFRESHMENTS

There will be water provided approximately every 5k on the course, and there will also be water available at the finish along with your post race goodies and medal.

RESULTS

Results will be available here immediately after the race.
