Route information

Returning for its sixth year, this triathlon is set in the beautiful grounds of Park Farm in Compton Verney, taking in the gorgeous Warwickshire countryside and local parkland.
Swim
Start with a beginner-friendly 400m swim in the stunning lake designed by Capability Brown, the renowned gardener and landscape architect. The race will gradually, with competitors entering the water in pairs to complete one lap of the course.
Bike
Distance: 21.5k
Total elevation: 181m
Terrain: Minor roads
The bike course is mostly flat and fast, so is ideal for both beginners and experienced riders looking to achieve a speedy bike time. The route heads out towards the Edge Hill escarpment before turning left towards Burton Dassett. Another left turn takes you up to Gaydon where you turn left again and head back to the finish via Kineton.
Run
Distance: 5k
Total elevation: 75m
Terrain: Grass and tracks
The final leg of the race is a 5k run along tracks and trails in and around the Compton Verney hamlet. This multi-terrain course has it all - flat stretches, challenging hills and beautiful local scenery. The undulating course weaves through meadows and woodlands, eventually bringing you to the finish line in front of the picturesque tree-lined lake.

By Car
The hamlet of Compton Verney is very well located in the heart of rural Warwickshire. The main road routes to the venue would be along the 'Fosse Way' B4455 or the B4086 from the direction of Stratford-upon-Avon, or from Junction 12 of the M40 via Kineton.
The entrance to the event's car park is off the Fosse Way B4455 towards Combrook. Look for the signs directing you into the car park.

Event day logistics

Timings will be confirmed closer to the event date.
Race Packs
Your race guide will be sent to you via email. The race pack containing your number, chip, swim hat etc will be picked up at registration.
Age Restrictions
All participants must be aged 16 and older.
Aid Stations
There will not be aid stations on the run and bike routes. There will be catering stands in the event village for after your event.
Wetsuits
The event will follow the temperature guidance set by British Triathlon. It is expected that, as with most races, the majority of participants will choose to wear a wetsuit if water temperature allows.
