Route information

Farmmageddon will be a unique 100 mile event held over 2 days, taking place at the beautiful Hyde Hall Farm. The 100 miles will be completed during a 32 hour time period. There will also be other distance options for participants to choose from.

Athletes will complete a 5.3km loop as many times as they can, with the overarching aim to reach their personal distance goal - whether this be completing a single lap or reaching the full 100 miles.

The terrain for this loop is trail, containing tarmac, grassland and trail paths.

Aid Station

There will be a water/aid station at the lap point meaning there is no need to carry a heavy bag filled with water and food for the duration of the event. Please note this is a cupless event so please bring a bottle to refill with water.

Parking

Parking is included in your entry and is secured on-site. Please look out for the parking attendants who will direct you to a suitable parking space and point you in the direction of registration.

Baggage

There will be a dedicated baggage area for you to leave belongings such as warm/dry clothes and shoes for the duration of the event.

Medals / Finisher's Goodies

All those completing the 100 Mile distance will receive a finisher's t-shirt and buckle (note there is a cutoff of 20/03/26 to sign-up and receive an event t-shirt due to manufacturing/shipping time requirements). Participants for other distances will receive a Farmmageddon medal (or a lucky dip medal from a different Hyde Hall event depending on option selected when signing up).

Challenge Event

For those who don't fancy running 100 miles, there will be four start times for the challenge event, where athletes can choose to run a 5k, 10k, Half Marathon, Marathon or Ultra Marathon. The start times are 9am on Saturday, 3pm on Saturday, 9pm on Saturday and 9am on Sunday.

FAQs

Are there any age requirements to sign-up to Farmmageddon?

Participants for the 100 Miler and 24 Hour Challenge must be 20 years old or older on race day. Participants for all other races must be at least 18 on race day.

Is there an option to spread the cost of the 100 Mile race at Farmmageddon?

There is an option to pay a non-refundable £75 deposit and pay the rest later. This final payment is due before 14/03/25.
