Route information
New to the EOTN series in 2026, we’re excited to present the Middlesbrough 10K and Ali Brownlee 5K – formerly the iconic Tees Pride 10K.
The Middlesbrough 10K has grown into a true community celebration, with thousands taking to the streets every year. Alongside it, the Ali Brownlee 5K honours the Voice of the Boro himself – a race filled with pride, passion, and that famous Teesside warmth.
Expect a flat and fast course that’s perfect for both first-timers and seasoned runners, set against the backdrop of our town’s landmarks. You’ll pass the Riverside, cheered on by the passionate Boro Red Army, and run through the heart of a place known for its friendly faces, parmos, local music and unbeatable atmosphere.
Whether you’re chasing a PB or just running for the love of it, there’s nothing quite like hearing the roar of Middlesbrough as you make your way through the streets and yes, a celebratory parmo is practically mandatory once you’ve crossed the finish line!
With Events of the North now at the helm, you can expect the same superb organisation and atmosphere that make all our events special – from Sunderland to Durham – now right here in the heart of the Boro.
