Route information

Join this jam-packed day of running in the seaside town of Morecambe in Lancashire. The course is UKA-licensed and distance-certified, with the marathon and half marathons following the same route along the promenade and out to Heysham Village and Hest Bank.

Marathon runners will complete 2 laps of the course, whilst those participating in the half marathon will complete 1. The 10k initially follows the same route as the other races, before peeling back to the finish line after approximately 5 kilometres.

Unlimited free parking is available on the coast road near the start/finish and in the residential roads near the church.

The closest train station to the race HQ is Morecambe which is about a mile from the start line.

Age Requirements

Marathon: Entrants have to be 18 years of age or older to enter
Half Marathon: Entrants have to be 17 or older to enter
10k: Entrants have to be 15 years of age or older to enter

Race Packs

Race packs must be collected from the registration area on the day of the event

Toilets

There will be a number of public toilets available to use along the promenade. Expect queues so leave plenty of time to use them before the race begins

Fancy Dress

All entrants are welcome to wear fancy dress. Please take care with your choice of fancy dress as the paths will not be closed to the public.
