Route information

The Half Marathon, 10k, and the 5k race, all start within Crossborough Park, War Memorial Park, in Basingstoke. While the races begin in the heart of Basingstoke Town Centre, the routes quickly lead runners into the undulating countryside, along traffic-free minor roads. The course is a challenging, exhilarating, and rewarding one, featuring legendary hills near Cliddesden and Farleigh Wallop, picturesque countryside, and charming villages.

Full road closures will be in place along all routes for the duration of the event, and supported by marshals and professional traffic management.

Before the excitement of the main race, there will be a children's race's—a lovely, flat 1-mile run - a dedicated race for children aged 5–10 years will begin at 09:00am.

Age Requirements

Children's Race: 5-10 years

5k: 11 years or over

10k: 15 years or over

Half Marathon: 17 years or over

Anyone one under the age of 18 years old will need a parent/guardian to register for them and sign the waiver.

Kids Races

There will be a free one-mile kids races taking place before the half marathon and 10k. Parents can run with their children if they wish to. Please note a parent/guardian is required to register the individual taking part.
