A physiology testing workshop where you’ll complete a sub-maximal track session to measure lactate levels during training. This workshop provides you with a detailed physiology report that identifies your training zones and lactate thresholds, helping you apply these insights directly to your home training and racing performance.

There is parking available at the venue but please ensure you are aware of all of the Birmingham congestion charges that you may get driving to the venue. There is also a parking fee required to pay at the venue via a machine.

Please note that there is strictly to be no parking on Edgbaston Park Road.
Travelling by Train:
The university is well connected by train and boasts its own station ‘University’. From Birmingham New Street, it takes just 7 minutes to get to University station with up to six trains an hour (final destination Longbridge or Redditch). Alternatively, the train from Longbridge to University takes just 12 minutes (final destination Lichfield City or Four Oaks). Please see the National Rail website for further information. From the station, it is then just under a mile walk to the track.
Travelling by bus:
TThe 98 and X64 bus services run every 20-30 minutes and connect the track to the city centre and New Street station with a stop located outside each of the entrances to the track (Westmere and Somerset Road stops). These services can also be used to get from university station to the track. The 63 and X61 services operate more frequently, connecting the university campus to the city centre.
