Get full directionsPARKING/TRAVEL
There is limited free parking on site. We recommend arriving early, as with all major events you can expect queues on arrival. We request that all runners arrive on site before 10am, ready for the half marathon to begin.
By Train
The nearest train station to the Racecourse is Aintree station, which is just a 6 minute walk away. This station has a direct link to Liverpool Lime Street, which is the nearest mainline station.
Event day logistics
10:00 am - Half Marathon starts
10:45 am - 10k starts
10:55 am - 5k starts
13:30 pm - Race End
CUT-OFF TIME
Please get in touch if you expect to take more than 3 hours to complete the half marathon, as we may need to make special arrangements.
MINIMUM AGES
Half Marathon - 17 years and above
10k - 15 years and above
5k - 11 years and above
BAGGAGE
We will have a secure room where you can leave your baggage. We recommend you bring as little baggage as possible. Your baggage tag is attached to your race number, you simply tear it off and attach to your bag. To collect, show your number to our staff and they will help you find your baggage.
TOILETS
We will be using toilet facilities within the racecourse grandstands. You will pass one of these blocks at the end of each lap on the course.
REFRESHMENTS
There will be water provided approximately every 5km in the half marathon and 10k, and there will also be water available at the finish along with your post race goodies and medal. Please note the 5k won’t pass a water station on the course.
RESULTS
Results will be available here immediately after the race.
