Day One - 42.2 KM: Nr Padstow - Perranporth
Day Two - 42.2 KM: Perranporth - St Ives Bay Holiday Park
Day Three - 44.3 KM: Lelant - Lands End
Starting near Padstow, complete 1, 2 or 3 marathons (78.6 miles) over 3 days pushing your mind and body beyond their limits. The terrain is varied and rugged. There are steep climbs and descents testing your technical abilities and concentration. Each day promises new challenges and iconic landmarks. This is a self-navigated event, following the South West Coast Path marked with the Acorn sign. For the majority of the run, it is enough to keep the sea to your right and the land on your left.

Every morning you are required to meet at the event HQ and be transported to the start. Feel free to leave your car at the event HQ and use the minibuses. After the run, you will be transported back to the event HQ.

Start Groups
Due to capacities on the transport, participants will be split into two groups for day 1. Group 1 will contain walkers and joggers ONLY. Group 2 is for runners and faster runners. Walkers are not permitted in group 2. This will be determined by the event organiser and published in the info pack before the event. This will also contain details about the briefing, bus and start times for each group.
Checkpoints
Checkpoints will be present roughly every 10km. Here you will be checked in by staff with your time logged. This way the event organisers can keep track of you, make sure you're safe and assist where necessary. The checkpoints are fully loaded with bars, jelly babies, salty snacks, rolls, water, coke and hot drinks. Hot soup and bread will be available at the finish points of day 1 and 2. A celebratory Cornish pasty awaits at the finish line of day 3.
Essential Kit (to be carried on your person or in your rucksack)
- A means of navigation
- Useful numbers, checkpoint timings, and lost procedure
- Whistle
- Compass (make sure your compass is attached to you or your kit)
- Waterproof top
- Long trousers or tights
- Gloves (waterproofed in a plastic freezer bag)
- Hat (waterproofed in a plastic freezer bag)
- A chocolate bar or similar
- Small torch with spare batteries
- Minimum of 400ml spare water
- Issued 'bib number'
- A lightweight piece of warm clothing (waterproofed)
- A fully charged working mobile phone (waterproofed)
- A notepad and pencil with your name and your mobile number written on it (waterproofed)
You must carry all the kit on the kit list. No exceptions.

Onsite Catering
Official event catering will be at the Bay View Cafe. Meals will start on thursday and finish on Sunday evening.
Medical Assistance
You will be supported by the medal support team throughout the event. At the challenge registration, each morning, medics will be available to sort any blisters, tape feet up etc.
