Route information
The BOWUM – Borderlands of Wales Ultra Marathon is a 30-mile loop through the stunning and storied landscapes of Monmouthshire’s borderlands, following parts of the Three Castles Walk, Offa’s Dyke Path, and other historic trails.
With a total ascent of 4,400 feet, this route is as challenging as it is beautiful — showcasing rolling hills, remote woodland, and panoramic views of both Wales and England.

Time Limits and Checkpoints
There are no time limits or cut off times, the event staff will support you to the finish line however long it takes you - just don't pitch up a tent ;-).
There are 3 checkpoints along the route. Perfect to stock up on fuel mid-race with snacks, drinks, power banks, encouragement and music. Let the event staff know your dietary requirements during signup.
