Breathe in the crisp air as you take on this fantastic hilly course hosted at Temple Newsam this winter. The grounds of this spectacular Tudor-Jacobean estate were designed and landscaped by Capability Brown, and are home to a Grade I-listed house.

5k runners will run 1 lap, 10k runners will run 2 and the Half Marathoners will take on 4 laps. The terrain will be on paths and trails, with a hilly route, making this a challenging course for all who take part.

This event is in aid of the charity Shelter, which aims to support those facing homelessness and housing issues across the UK.

Please arrive with plenty of time to register and warm-up. This minimises stress for you and makes your experience more enjoyable.

Registration

Registration will be located on the grass before you enter the Town Moor. Here you can collect your race pack.

Age Requirements

The minimum age limit for the half marathon is 17.

Children of all ages can take part in the 5k and 10k, but please note that this is under the discretion of a parent/guardian. If they can confidently run 5k/10k unaccompanied they can participate, as long as there is a parent/guardian onsite at all times.

Race Pack

You must collect your race pack on the day of the event at the registration desk. Your race pack will not be posted to you prior to the event.

Toilets

The toilets are located within the event hub. To avoid long queues, use these facilities with plenty of time to spare before your race.

Bag Drop

There will be a designated area for participants to leave their belongings, however, space is limited so the organiser asks that you travel as light as possible.

Headphones

If wearing headphones, please make sure you can hear the marshal's instructions whilst you run.
