Cycle through the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, taking on 50k, 84k or 123k this May. Take on the Long route and tackle Leith Hill and Box Hill in one ride, or opt for the 50k for a shorter, easier loop. Ideal for all levels, come along to claim your finisher's medal!

Join us for the Surrey Hills Classic, a cycling event that lives up to its name - an absolute classic!
Tackle the Long or Middle Route, featuring Leith Hill, the highest point in Southern England (294m!), and explore the stunning Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Box Hill awaits those on the Long Route – a true challenge for seasoned cyclists and a bucket list climb!
New to Cycling? No Problem! The Short Route, with just over 50km and 500m of climbing, offers a fantastic introduction to the beauty of the Surrey Hills. Perfect for beginners and casual riders!
Whichever route you choose, prepare to be amazed. Weave through a breathtaking variety of landscapes, from rolling chalk downs and vibrant grasslands to lush woodlands and scenic heaths.
At the finish line, you can celebrate your accomplishment with a well-deserved medal and goodies from our sponsors. Relax and socialise with fellow riders in our vibrant post-race village, complete with pizza and good company.
The Surrey Hills Classic is a favourite among UK Cycling Event riders due to its accessibility and the chance to conquer iconic climbs.

Cranleigh Showground is located on the outskirts of Cranleigh. It is a 29-minute drive from Guildford via the B2128 and a 24-minute drive from Horsham via Horsham Road.

Age Requirements
- Riders under the age of 12 will be granted free entry as long as they book alongside a full paying adult
- All riders under the age of 16 need to be accompanied by an adult who is responsible for them at all times
On the Day Entry
On the day entries will be available if the event is not sold out. These entries will cost an additional £5 over the standard online entry price.
Essential Kit
- All riders must have a helmet, which must comply with the latest US Snell B90/B95 or European CE standards
- Basic tools
- Inner tubes

- First Aid kit (recommended)
- Mobile phone
- Lights and high visibility clothing (on days where fog or rain is forecast, or where light is likely to be reduced)
Plastic-Free Feed Stops
Feed stops at this event will be plastic-free. Riders are encouraged to bring their own drink bottle.
