Route information
This is an out and back course that will let runners explore Lancaster's finest urban scenery. Entrants will cross the River Lune and follow the route all the way towards Morecambe, before a quick turn around, back to the George and Dragon.
The route will be predominantly along open roads and cycleways that will not be closed to the public so makes sure to watch out for any fellow pedestrians and road users.

There are many hotels in Lancaster City centre a 10-20 minute walk from the venue.
By Car
Take Junction 33 off of the M6 and follow the signs to Lancaster. Turn left at the bottom of the hill along the Quay road.
By Train
The closest train station to the race venue is Lancaster station which is located 0.6 miles away, a perfect distance for a little warm-up jog.

Registration
Registration will be held at the George and Dragon Pub.
Race Packs
Race packs will not be posted, all race packs must be collected from registration on the day of the event.
Age Requirements
Entrants must be 15 years of age or older on race day.
Club Runner Entry
Members of Lancaster Runner's Club will receive a discounted rate. If you pay the lower rate and are not a member of the club you will have to pay the additional balance at the registration on the day of the event.
Baggage
There is limited baggage storage at the George and Dragon. Bags will be left there at the owner's risk.
Water stations
Drinks stations will be located approximately every 3 miles along the course.
Headphones
It is not recommended to use headphones when you run as you will need to be aware of what is around you and you must be able to take instructions from the marshals.
