Route information
Take on a summer challenge set against the scenic backdrop of Walton Bridge at the Weybridge 5K, 10K, Half Marathon & Juniors on Sunday 7th June 2026. Whether you’re chasing a personal best or soaking in the riverside views, this event welcomes runners of all abilities.
With a buzzing town-centre atmosphere and picturesque stretches along the Thames, it’s the perfect mix of urban and rural running in Surrey.
Starting from Walton Lane, all distances follow a chip-timed, partially road-closed route alongside the River Thames. Runners will pass Walton Bridge, follow the Thames Towpath and loop around Desborough Island before returning to the finish line under the iconic RunThrough archway.

Please note that there is no parking on site at Cowey Sale Car Park or at Vandals Club due to the course and road closures being in place along Walton Lane.
Parking is available at The Heart Shopping Centre, 53 New Zealand Avenue, Walton-on-Thames, KT12 1GH. It is then a 10 min walk/warm up jog to the event village in Cowey Sale Car Park.
You can also find a number of car parks available in Weybridge Town Centre on Parkopedia. You can follow the footpath on Broadwater Walk which will take you in to the event village.
All participants are encouraged to car share, use public transport or walk/run to the venue where possible.
By Car
There will be a number of road closures on the day which will be confirmed closer to the event date.
Event day logistics
09:00 am - Half Marathon starts
10:00 am - 10k starts
10:15 am - 5k starts
11:30 am - Junior Race starts
12:15 pm - Race End
CUT-OFF TIME
Please note there is a 3 hour cut off on this race due to road closures in place
MINIMUM AGES
- Entrants must be 11 and older to enter the 5k
- Entrants must be 15 and older to enter the 10k
- Entrants must be 17 and older to enter the Half Marathon
- Entrants must be 6 and older to enter the 2k Fun Run
BAGGAGE
We will have a secure marquee area where you can leave your baggage. We recommend you bring as little baggage as possible. Your baggage tag is attached to your race number, you simply tear it off and attach to your bag. To collect, show your number to our staff and they will help you find your baggage.
TOILETS
Portable toilets.
REFRESHMENTS
There will be water provided every lap of each race, and there will also be water available at the finish along with your post race goodies and medal.
RESULTS
Results will be available here immediately after the race.

What are the age restrictions for the Weybridge 5k, 10k and Half Marathon?
Entrants must be 11 and older for the 5k, 15 and older to enter the 10k, 17 or older for the Half Marathon and 6 and older to enter the 2k Fun Run.
Can I run the Weybridge 5k, 10k and Half Marathon with my dog?
Unfortunately, runners must not run with a personally owned or controlled dog during an event. Entries may be accepted from participants with medical assistance dogs, subject to them being correctly registered and identifiable as such, and subject to prior approval by the Event Director.
