Route information
The Wittering Beach Run returns, offering runners a unique coastal experience with stunning panoramic views of Selsey Bill, the Isle of Wight, Chichester Harbour, the Solent, and the South Downs.
Set along the unspoilt sands of West Wittering, a Blue Flag-awarded beach, this route is a seaside runner's dream. At low tide, the extensive sandy flats provide the perfect running surface, while water stations along each distance keep you refreshed as you take in the scenery.
With three distances to choose from, this event is designed for runners of all abilities, whether you're chasing a new personal best, gaining confidence on the trails, or simply enjoying a scenic run by the sea. As you cross the finish line, you will receieve well-earned medal, a refreshing drink, and exciting finisher's goodies.

7:30 am - Venue Opens
The car park opens to allow runners to prepare themselves for the race and grab a coffee.
8:00 AM - 15km Distance Race Start!
The race kicks off as the Long distance runners cross the start line.
8:05 AM - 15km Canicross Distance Race Start!
The race kicks off as the Long distance canicross runners cross the start line.
8:15 AM - 10km Distance Race Start!
The race kicks off as the Medium distance runners cross the start line.
8:20 AM - 10km Canicross Distance Race Start!
The race kicks off as the Medium distance canicross runners cross the start line.
8:30 AM - 5km Distance Race Start!
The race kicks off as the Short distance runners cross the start line.

1:30 pm - The Race Finishes / Cut-off Time
Your adventure finishes, you will cross the finish line and collect your bag full of goodies.

Canicross Entries
Please ensure you bring the following items for your dog:
● Poo bags
● Water
● Treats
● An appropriate dog lead
● One dog, per one runner
These items will help ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience for both you and your dog. Thank you!
Things to note:
- You will collect your running bib number on arrival at the event. Please bring your QR code with you on the day and head to 'Registration' for collection.
- Save The Event Phone Number: 02033 717 156.
- Bib numbers should be displayed clearly on the front of you.
- We are plastic free, please bring a reusable cup / bottle for use at the water stations.
- There will be First Aid support located at the on-course aid stations and event centre.
- One dog, per one runner.
