Bridge & Trestle 17 Mile Run

Get ready to hit the trails at the exhilarating 2026 Bridge & Trestle 17 Mile Run, taking place on the scenic Virginia Creeper Trail on Saturday, December 13th! Feel the rush of the great outdoors in Damascus as you join a passionate community of runners for a race that's all about the love of running and nature.

The action kicks off with packet pickup at 8:30 AM, leading up to the 10:00 AM start. Embracing an eco-friendly spirit, we're going cup-less to keep our trails pristine, but don't worry – you'll get an awesome collapsible cup for refreshment along the way! And yes, there are post-race hot beverages and snacks waiting to fuel your accomplishment.

Proudly free courtesy of the State of Franklin Track Club, you'll not only challenge yourself but also contribute to the Club’s Trail and Long Distance Series. Expect unique rewards – not just traditional awards – for the first male and female finishers, the middle-pack hero, and the spirited last finisher, who will each receive special zippered shoe bags.
