Route information

Established in 1999, we're celebrating 26 years of Reach the Beach! The race happens September 12-13, 2025!
Join us for one of the nation's oldest and most historic relay races filled with tradition and community celebration.
As always, NO volunteers are required. This year, your adventure will start at Lancaster Fairgrounds in Lancaster, New Hampshire. From there, you and your team will run along alpine lakes, over rolling hills and across covered bridges. From the mountains to the beach, there's nothing quite like New England in the fall. This course does not disappoint. This race boasts some of our best community support, with decorated exchanges, volunteers in full costume and even neighborhood block parties. We couldn't ask for a warmer welcome for our amazing runners. The finish line awaits you at Hampton Beach. And yes, it's really right on the beach where you can dip your toes in the Atlantic Ocean.
Celebrate your accomplishment with your team at the finish line party filled with music, medals, vendors and more! Some highlights are the amazing beer garden and (big news!) Big Pig BBQ is BACK this year and ready to fuel your post-race appetite. Sign up now to run, drive, (sleep?) and repeat all the way from Lancaster Fairgrounds to Hampton Beach, NH.
