Start Times
Start times will be assigned July 31 to all teams with at least 3/4 of runners with 10k road paces saved to their profile.
Volunteer Requirement
All Standard Relay teams have a one (1) volunteer requirement per team. Each standard team must fill one (1) 3-hour volunteer shift or Teams may also opt to pay $120 for Ragnar to recruit a volunteer through a local non-profit. Runners can complete a shift between or before their loops. The person who signs up does not have to be the one who works the shift, as long as someone from the team covers it. Volunteer sign up will be available Sept 12.
Age Restrictions
Runners must be at least 12 years old. Participants under 18 need a parent or legal guardian to sign a waiver, and teams with minors must have at least one adult (25+) at the race. That adult may camp with the team for free and can pace minor runners.

Get full directionsARRIVAL PROCESS
All participants will enter the venue via Flat Rock Creek Road. Signs will guide you to the Gear Drop and parking areas. If you arrive before 3:00 PM on Thursday, you will be directed to park in our overflow field and will need to wait to enter.
Parking is within walking distance of the village and camping area. Upon arrival, you’ll go through Gear Drop at the entrance to the venue. Here, you’ll be asked for your team number and required to pay the parking fee (see details below). Once you've paid, you can come and go as you please!
Gear Drop functions like an airport drop-off zone. Gear and extra passengers will be unloaded at the designated area. The driver will then re-enter the vehicle and follow signs and volunteer directions to the parking area. Once parked, you can head to the camping area to join your team or help move gear.
Gate Hours: Please note that the venue gate will close at 10:00 PM on Thursday and reopen at 7:30 AM on Friday. If you need to enter or exit outside of these hours, please ensure the gate is closed securely behind you.
Parking Information:
- Thursday arrivals: $20
- Friday arrivals: $10
- Sprint teams arriving Saturday: Free
- Payment method: Credit card only
- Vehicles with 4 or more people: Parking is free
- Fee is one-time only
Trailers:
No trailers allowed. Vehicles with trailers cannot be accommodated due to limited space and the impact on traffic flow.
Carpooling Encouraged:
To reduce carbon emissions and ease congestion, please limit your team to two vehicles, if possible. As an incentive, vehicles with 4 or more people park for free.
Gear Drop Hours:
Thursday: 3:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Friday: 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
For maps of the village, camping, and Gear Drop areas, please refer to the Hill Country Runner Packet.
DEPARTURE PROCESS
After an epic weekend of dirt, sweat, and glory, it’s time to head home like the trail legends you are. For a smooth exit, follow these steps:
Clean Up Your Campsite
Leave no trace (except good memories). Use the trash and recycling bags from check-in and toss waste in the right bins—help us help Mother Nature and our clean-up crew.
Pack Up & Head to Gear Drop
Bring all your gear to the Gear Drop before grabbing your car. If you’re lucky enough to be parked nearby, feel free to skip the drop and go straight to your vehicle.
Load Up at Gear Drop
Once you’ve got your car, swing back to Gear Drop and load up. But don’t roll in early—no parking, no lingering, no camping out in the driver’s seat. Think airport drop-off... but with more mud.

Cupless Event
Single-use containers are not provided at any water stations on the course or for hot chocolate/coffee in the Village area. Bring your reusable hot and cold containers to use throughout the event.
Venue & Campsite Rules
NO DOGS
No dogs on the course, at the campsite, in the Village, or at the event. We love dogs too, but this is a safety issue for participants and for the dogs. Service dogs (not ESA) are allowed, but they must remain on a leash at all times.
NO GENERATORS
No generators are allowed in the campsite, village, or on course.
NO DRONES
Non-official use of drones is prohibited without special approval.
NO CAMPFIRES
Propane cooking stoves are permitted, but no open flame campfires/firepits.
Campsites are first come, first serve, and are not pre-marked. We ask that you are considerate about the space your team fills.
There are fire ants at this venue. Before setting up your campsite, please check to see if you are near fire ants. They are not large, but small. If you happen to set up your site and later find fire ants within your camp, please talk with HQ at the race about getting fire ant killer. A Ragnar staff member will bring fire ant killer and pour it on the nest at your camp at our earliest convenience.
