Run Hatteras 5k Road Race Series August 7, 2026

Get ready to lace up your sneakers and join us for an exhilarating morning at the Run Hatteras Summer 5k Race Series! Every Friday at 8 AM during the sunny season of 2026, we'll be taking to the stunning Kinnakeet Shores for a start-your-day-right kind of run.

Whether you're here to chase a new personal best or just to enjoy the scenic views of the Cape Hatteras National Seashore, we've got you covered. And let's not forget the perks – a cool T-shirt, a unique finisher medal, and a light breakfast with refreshments to celebrate your accomplishment.

Adults can sign up for $45, youths under 17 for $40, and we're proud to offer a $40 entry fee for our active military veterans as well. Remember, no pre-event packet pick-up; just come bright and early between 7:00-7:45 AM on race day at SUN Realty in Avon. We'll be waiting with your race packet and an energy-infused welcome!
